“BOKAYA” ASSOCIATION, BULGARIA IN PARTNERSHIP WITH “TINERII 3D” ASSOCIATION, ROMANIA, IMPLEMENT THE “DOBROTVORITELNICA” PROJECT, № 2023-1-BG01-ESC51-VTJ-000131455, UNDER THE EUROPEAN SOLIDARITY CORPS PROGRAM.

The first flow of a volunteer team with young people from Bulgaria and Romania is being implemented in the period 19.11.2023 – 09.12.2023 in Vidin, Bulgaria.

The main goal was to increase the social commitment of young people by attracting them to participate in various charitable and social initiatives.

In Stream 1, the following activities were performed:

  • Workshop “Rules for building a good and successful charity campaign”
  • Informational meeting with representatives of charitable organizations from the region of Vidin. Getting to know the different causes
  • Providing organizational support in conducting Christmas workshops for children and youth at risk
  • Work on the preparation of informational materials for popularizing the opportunities among the local community, for inclusion in the various charitable initiatives on the territory of the city of Vidin.
  • Creative workshop to master puppets for puppet theater and props for theater performances. Preparation for participation in Christmas performances for disadvantaged children and youth
  • Preparation of materials for the theatrical performance.
  • Distribution of prepared information materials to the local population in public places in the city.
  • Participation in a charity puppet theater for underprivileged children.
  • Providing organizational assistance to charitable organizations during the Christmas Bazaar in Vidin Mall. Conducting an information campaign among the local population about the possibilities of involvement in various charitable causes.
  • Holding a meeting to evaluate the work done and determine guidelines for future development.

At the end, based on the assessments made and the information from the volunteers’ diaries, certificates certifying their participation in the project were prepared.
