Presenting the European Week of Programming, an initiative in which the “BOKAYA” association participated for the third year in a row.
This year, in the period from October 1 to October 30, 2020, 80 children and adolescents aged 12-24 years became part of the initiative. The initiative was held in the form of a webinar as follows in the city of Belogradchik, the village of Novo Selo, the town of Gramada and the village of Archar.
Participants actively took part in the webinars and gained knowledge about the current situation on the topic of cyber security, where they examined current cases and pitfalls from the world of cyber security. Guest lecturer Sibil Boychev was invited to the events, who guided the participants through the world of cyber security. All participants received a t-shirt with the initiative’s logo and advertising materials. A surprise for each webinar was that the BOKAYA association randomly drew one of the participants in each of the four townships, where a total of four people won a brand new tablet so they could have easier access to everything they had learned during the “European Programming Week”.
This project is implemented thanks to the support of the Civic Initiatives Workshop Foundation, SAP and TechSoup, within the framework of the “Meet and Program” initiative
